Delivery Information
DELIVERY METHODS
All orders will be sent via UPS 24-48 Hour Service – this means 24 to 48 hours from the date of dispatch and not the date of order. (Restricted to UK Mainland only, other areas are on 3-5 day service). Please note that a signature may be required upon on delivery of your order. Orders dispatched on Fridays will be delivered on the following Monday/Tuesday unless additional cost of Saturday delivery has been agreed.
· If you wish you can leave special delivery instructions when you go through the checkout process. If you do not leave any special instructions and you are out when the courier arrives they will leave a card with instructions on how to arrange redelivery or how to collect in person. If you request that goods are left in a certain place ie. “…leave package at back door..” – this is at your own risk and we cannot accept responsibility for stolen goods if they have not been signed for.
· Please carefully check the package for damage, tampering or shortages before signing the delivery note. We cannot accept responsibility for damage or loss in transit if you have signed for the goods.
– Delivery for small orders will be sent in the post at a reduced rate of £5.95 to cover packing and admin costs. Small parcels such as these will be sent 2nd Class Royal Mail or by UPS.
– All other orders will be sent by UPS unless your order is coming direct from a manufacturer using their courier. In both scenarios a signature will be required.
– Customer is fully responsible for any import duties incurred.

Orders over £25 – £9.95 (Via UPS)
International Delivery – Will show as £0.00 (Via UPS) – Please select this option and we will get in touch to confirm delivery charge – see guide prices below for International deliveries. Please note that ALL international deliveries are chargeable and will be calculated at point of dispatch – we will then notify you of the delivery charge and once paid your order will be dispatched.

If your country is not listed above let us know and we can obtain a quote. Customs and import duties are your responsibility when the goods arrive in your country.
DELIVERY TIMESCALES
· We carry stock of many products and these are dispatched either on the same day or on the following day. However, at KingsHandles we offer a huge choice of specially manufactured products and for this reason cannot always dispatch from stock. Please check with us prior to placing an order if you are in a rush for something as many products are made to order.
The expected lead time for products ordered from the below suppliers are as follows:
Locks: 2-4 weeks
Special Finishes: 2-4 weeks
· If your order contains a mix of products they will be dispatched together in one consignment. The dispatch date will be determined by the product with the longest delivery schedule. When you place your order we will notify you by email of the expected lead time.
· We dispatch orders on weekdays only, excluding UK bank holidays. If you have placed your order online, you will receive an automated email when you place your order. Then, when your order is dispatched, you can expect an email providing you with dispatch information.

UNSUCCESSFUL DELIVERY
If we have dispatched your order and our couriers have attempted delivery without success, perhaps due to nobody being at the delivery address, they will leave a card explaining how and where you can arrange to collect your order. Please arrange to do this as soon as possible as otherwise your parcel will be returned to ourselves and a second delivery charge will apply.
